The PM-705PRU programming module and 705PRU driver software allow the LP120 to program the MC68705P3/P5/R3/R5/U3/U5 single-chip microcontrollers. Most low-cost programmers provide very limited support for these parts, but the LP120 provides full functionality. Just look at the available options:

* The LP120 is the only programmer that can read a programmed 68705P. Reading a 68705P takes a long time, possibly hours, but if the original source code has been lost it may be the only way to recover the code and program more parts. Programmed 68705R or 68705U parts can not be read, but all the other menu options are available for these parts.
